Additional 3D model export formats image.

Additional 3D Model Export Formats

OBJ (waveform object) and VRML (virtual reality modeling language) 3D Model export formats added to the existing STL file format. OBJ is used for printing with multiple colors or textures. VRML is used in virtual reality software and applications.

CT Lung Nodule analysis image.

CT Lung Nodule Analysis

Updated from Lung-RADS 1.0 to Lung-RADS 1.1.

Olea® Medical DICOM viewer image.

Olea® Medical DICOM Viewer (OMDV)

The Olea Medical DICOM viewer allows the display of medical images in DICOM format from CD/DVD/Blueray discs burned from the Olea Sphere application. It can also read external CD/DVD/Blue-ray discs, flash memory, or images from local and network folder locations.

Cobb Angle Tool image.

Cobb Angle Tool

The Vitrea software now includes a Cobb Angle tool which is especially helpful for MSK work of the spine, knees, pelvis/hips. The Cobb tool is available wherever the angle tool is available (applications and viewers [slice viewer, MPRs, and oblique MPRs.])

CT VScore calcium scoring image.

CT VScore (Calcium Scoring) (7.15.6)

Additional MESA score plot displaying the ‘MESA Percentile’ is now available. The updated MESA calcium scoring calculator that uses a specific percentage instead of a percentile range. ‘Hoff’, ‘Nasu’, ‘MESA Range’, and ‘MESA Percentile’ will all be available within the calcium scoring application.

Additional Improvements

  • Improvements to the carotid and vertebral vessel workflow. (7.16.0)
    • The segmentation algorithm has been improved for better vessel initializations with the vertebral arteries extending superiorly closer to the basilar bifurcation and inferiorly to the aortic arch.
  • Users can now generate a DICOM SR output from the CT VScore™ application. (7.16.0)
    • In addition to the coronary calcium quantification, the DICOM SR output also includes fields but not limited to calcium scoring guideline (MESA, HOFF etc.), slice thickness, calcium scoring density threshold, etc.
      • Integration of DICOM SR output into other PACS/EMR or reporting systems requires custom integration work with the other vendor depending on their ability to support DICOM SR formats.
  • Usability improvements to Perivascular CT Density functionality: (7.16.0)
    • Batch or movie rotation includes a cover page that contains color key for referencing various density levels in the Perivascular coronary regions.
      • This is also reflected in the SUREPlaque™ functionality as well.
    • Automatic saving of Histogram dialog box location and size to ensure user viewing preference is saved with the result viewing/generating functionality.
  • Medis® Suite Cardiovascular MR The Medis Suite version 4.0.62.4 is integrated into Vitrea AV (7.16.0)
    • Windows server 2022 is now supported.
    • QMass enhancement: o
      • Improved module detection; recognition for function short and long axis analysis in QMass based on the series loaded.
    • QStrain enhancements:
      • Automatically mirroring of the series applied when needed to correctly display the bull’s eye plot for regional results.
      • Long axis images for LV are being recognized, leading to automatic filling of the thumbnails.
      • Contour editing is enriched:
        • Rubberbanding is added to precisely adapt the contours.
        • Shortcuts are added for moving the contours, smoothing the contour, and undo/redo the contour changes.
  • Visia™ CT Lung CAD by MeVis™ Medical Solutions n The MeVis Visia Lung CAD by MeVis Medical Solutions version 5.8.2 update removes end of life software and POSTGreSQL 9.5. n This update also removes Windows Server 2012 R2 support.(7.16.0)
  • TAVR: Show Overview labels no longer overlap orientation labels or patient information in the 3D viewer. (7.15.7)
  • A More and Less button added to the Analysis tab in TAVR, AAA, and Fenestrated Stent applications. (7.15.7)
  • When a vessel is created, it defaults to the full vessel. Now, if a different vessel is selected, the entire vessel is shown in the inset. If the display format is switched, the entire vessel is displayed in the inset. (7.15.7)
  • Runoff with POI (cube) display format button is now blue. (7.15.7)
  • Interact Fast setting is checked off as the default for all presets. (7.15.7)
  • CT Brain Perfusion 2D and 4D (7.15.7)
    • Summary map results table overlay on CT viewer has been designed to be more compact for better brain visibility and much reduced obstruction in both CT Brain Perfusion 2D and 4D.
    • Summary map results table overlay is hidden in batches that are created in both CT Brain Perfusion 2D and 4D so that it does not obstruct the slice viewer. When creating batches and movies, if the cover page checkbox is checked then the summary map results will be visible on the cover page only.
  • CT VScore (Calcium Scoring) (7.15.7)
    • Region labels prefixed with “Other” are now able to be changed to a different anatomical structure from a list of dropdown names. In addition, the calcium burden (1) on coronaries and (2) on valves and related structures can now be reported separately.
  • Olea Medical DICOM Viewer (OMDV) v1.2.0 (7.15.7)
