Canon Medical Informatics Appoints Genady Knizhnik as Chief Executive Officer
February 19, 2026 — Minneapolis, MN – Canon Medical Informatics today announced the appointment of Genady Knizhnik as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026.
Genady most recently served as Executive Vice President of Canon Medical Informatics, where he led the company’s commercial, marketing, and services organizations. In parallel, he has played a key role within Canon Medical’s global Healthcare IT leadership team, aligning regional execution around a shared go-to-market strategy.
With more than 20 years of experience in medical imaging, enterprise IT, and digital transformation, Genady has guided organizations through periods of growth and transition. His work has focused on helping healthcare providers move from fragmented workflows to scalable, standardized in-house models that support both clinical efficiency and enterprise consistency.
As CEO, Genady will focus on advancing Canon Medical Informatics’ mission to deliver state-of-the-art post-processing and Advanced Visualization solutions that enable timely, efficient, and accurate imaging-driven diagnosis, while continuing to strengthen execution, innovation, and customer outcomes.
Genady holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from the Israel Institute of Technology.
